Eclectus: An adoptable parrot in Ballwin, MO

Medium • Adult • Female

Pretty Bird is a female Eclectus. She's hand tame and likes to share meals with her foster mom. She prefers women and may not like being around small children or men. This remains to be tested since she recently made friends with a man in our group.

As you can see she is a feather picker, especially when she finds herself in new situations. Shortly after arriving at her foster home she picked her wings and chest, but now that she has settled in she is regrowing the down feathers and seems to be leaving them alone.

Pretty Bird is fairly quiet but, as with most parrots, she can be loud if there is commotion or if she sees something outside.
